Experience

Andrea Novarese is a Finance partner in the Milan office of Latham & Watkins. His practice is focused on banking and finance matters, including acquisition finance, project finance, equipment finance, real estate finance, export finance and capital markets work. He also advises banks in their merger and acquisition deals. Mr. Novarese has been recognized in industry journals such as International Finance Law Review 2007, Chambers 2007, PCL Which Lawyer  and Legal 500.

Prior to joining Latham & Watkins in January 2008, Mr. Novarese began his career working with Italian and US firms spending a year with a New York firm in 1992; afterwards he served as an in-house counsel for the Banca Commerciale Italiana (now Intesa SanPaolo) at its head office in Milan between 1994 and 1998 and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development between 1998 and 1999.  He joined Erede and Associati (the predecessor to Bonelli Erede Pappalardo) in 1999, and became partner in 2001.
