Two London Partners Named to Twenty Most Influential Private Equity Lawyers List

Private Equity News named London corporate partners Farah O’Brien and David Walker to its annual Twenty Most Influential Private Equity Lawyers list. The list celebrates the leading legal minds working on fundraising, structuring, and deals within the buyout industry in Europe.

The publication noted O’Brien’s work across market-leading deals. Her recent transactions include advising PSG Equity on its €100 million investment in Nordic hospitality software company Visit Group, working with Platinum Equity on its acquisition of rum blending specialist E&A Scheer, and advising Two Circles and its shareholders on its sale to Charterhouse Capital Partners.

Walker’s inclusion marks his second consecutive appearance on the annual list. His recent deals include advising Leonard Green & Partners on its acquisition of a stake in Iris Software, EQT on the sale of Rimes to Five Arrows, the private equity arm of Rothschild & Co, advising Bridgepoint and CPP Investments on the sale of Dorna Sports to Liberty Media, and working with Equistone Partners Europe on the sale of hospitality services provider CH&CO to Compass Group.
