Allen Wang is Office Managing Partner of the Beijing office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Corporate Department.
Mr. Wang practices corporate law, with a focus on:
- Capital markets
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Public company representation
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Mr. Wang worked as an associate in the General Practice Group at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and as an investment banking associate in the Financial Institutions Group at Morgan Stanley in New York, where he advised on corporate finance and M&A.
Mr. Wang was elected partner in Latham & Watkins’ Los Angeles office in 2007 and has been practicing in Asia since 2009. Mr. Wang is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
Mr. Wang's representative experience includes advising:
- Leading investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank Securities
- Major US, European and China based corporations on transactions across various industries including energy, media, technology and real estate
- Capital markets transactions (including high-yield, IPOs, convertibles and other products), and mergers and acquisitions in the US, China and Hong Kong
