Xavier Farde is a partner in the Paris office of Latham & Watkins and he is Vice Chair of the Global Finance Department of the firm.

Mr. Farde practice focuses primarily on leverage finance (senior and mezzanine), banking and syndicated loans. He also advises on real estate finance.

Mr. Farde's experience includes representing:

  • BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, CIC and Société Générale in connection with the €220 million senior financing of the acquisition by Astorg of Saverglass, a French producer of premium glass bottles
  • Faiveley in connection with the 2.5 year extension of its credit facility
  • Sagard Private Equity and PAI Partners in connection with the €380 million leverage recapitalization and refinancing of existing indebtedness of Kiloutou
  • AXA Private Equity in connection with the financing of its acquisition of Novacap, a French chemistry group
  • Intermediate Capital Group in connection with the financing of its acquisition of Gerflor, a French vinyl flooring manufacturer.
