Global Merger Regimes™ Application
Latham & Watkins has developed a Global Merger Regimes™ Application (app) for the iPhone, iPad and iPod. The app was designed as a reference tool for in-house counsel and lawyers who practice in the M&A and antitrust and competition areas, putting the information required for a preliminary assessment of such issues available at the touch of a finger.
From Albania to Zambia, the app provides a database of merger regimes for more than 80 countries. This information is important in the M&A process, as transactions may require approval from competition authorities around the world. Such review may impact the feasibility of a particular transaction and often the timeline to closing.
