Tom D. Evans, Global Vice Chair of the firm's Private Equity & Investment Funds Practice, is an M&A lawyer with almost two decades of experience advising funds and other financial investors on complex cross border mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing arrangements, including public and private acquisitions, carve-outs, take privates, consortium arrangements, minority investments, and disposals.
He is a thought leader in the private equity industry. He co-edits PE Views, the Latham & Watkins quarterly publication addressing significant legal, regulatory, and market developments relevant to the private equity industry in Europe, co-edits Latham & Watkins’ annual European private equity M&A market study, edits the text Private Equity Exits: A Practical Analysis, and has published chapters in Private Equity: A Transactional Analysis and Global Investment Funds: A Practical Guide to Structuring, Raising and Managing Funds.
