PROFILE

Anthony Klein counsels emerging growth and established technology and service companies, negotiating their strategic alliances and technology/IP-related transactions. He serves as Global Co-Chair of Latham’s Connectivity Industry Group, and previously served as Global Co-Chair of the Data & Technology Transactions Practice, Chair of the Firm's Security Committee, and Chair of the Firm's Technology Committee.

Anthony provides clients practical legal advice to facilitate their strategic business transactions. He leverages a sophisticated understanding of the intricacies of dynamic technologies, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in Silicon Valley and around the world. He regularly advises clients active in the following industries:

  • Avago Technologies Limited in its acquisitions of Broadcom Corporation, Emulex Corporation, and LSI Corporation
  • Lucasfilm regarding intellectual property matters in its sale to The Walt Disney Company
  • American Airlines regarding its strategic alliances with British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, FinnAir, Qantas, JAL, China Southern, and LATAM
  • The Government of Abu Dhabi regarding the revision of its intellectual property laws to facilitate the establishment of the semiconductor industry in Abu Dhabi

  • AMD in the purchase of Xilinx and other companies, as used as the commercial and intellectual property aspects of establishing GLOBALFOUNDRIES

  • Cruise, a leading developer of autonomous vehicle technology, on various acquisitions and commercial transactions
