Sean Finn is a partner in Latham & Watkins' London office and advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of corporate, finance, and business taxation. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and serves as a Vice Chair of Latham's Finance Committee.

  • IMG, an Endeavor company and global leader in sports, events, media, and fashion, on the acquisition of Mutua Madrid Open
  • Sliver Lake on the US$650 million equity funding round by Klarna, the Sweden-based provider of e-commerce payment systems and solutions
  • The Carlyle Group in connection with the recapitalization of Dealogic, a global provider of data and analytics for the capital markets, by ION Investment Group
  • ACCO Brands Corporation in connection with its €296.9 million acquisition of Esselte Group, a leading European office products company, from private equity firm J.W. Childs
  • Onex Partners on its agreement to acquire the SIG Combibloc Group for US$4.6 billion and in connection with its agreement to acquire the Survitec Group for US$680 million
  • Punch A and Punch B Senior Noteholders’ Committee in relation to the restructuring of £2.3 billion of Punch Taverns debt
  • The Carlyle Group in connection with its acquisition of Dealogic and related joint ventures from Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC

  • Qatar Holding LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Qatar Investment Authority) on its acquisition of approximately 6% of Barclays plc for £1.45 billion and its further investment for £1.75 billion

  • The Carlyle Group and The Nature’s Bounty Co. on the £1.77 billion sale of Holland & Barrett, one of Europe’s largest health and wellness retailers
