PROFILE

Noah Weiss is a partner in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins. Noah is a member of the Finance Department with a focus on senior secured lending and leveraged finance. Noah's practice is extraordinarily diverse and demonstrates his versatility in representing a wide range of clients in multiple types of complex leverage finance transactions. Noah represents financial institutions, corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors in structuring, negotiating and documenting US and international asset-based and cash-flow secured and unsecured loan transactions, including senior debt, second-lien debt, mezzanine debt and debtor-in-possession financings, typically in the context of acquisition financings, workouts and in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Noah's finance practice ranges from middle-market to large-cap transactions, most frequently involving acquisitions by private equity firms of retail companies, healthcare services companies and industrials. Noah has also represented clients recently on cross-border financings, repricing transactions, incremental facilities and unitranche financings.

Noah has also represented a broad range of US and international clients in public and private mergers, acquisitions and securities offerings, as well as leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, restructurings and corporate governance matters.

Noah received his JD from Columbia University School of Law in 2000, where he served on the Columbia Law Review and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Following graduation, Noah served as a law clerk to Judge Dolores K. Sloviter of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
