Rick Offsay, Co-Chair of the firm’s Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice, provides strategic advice to clients on a full spectrum of complex transactions across the entertainment, sports, and media industries.
Rick combines sophisticated industry knowledge with a deep understanding of the businesses of both investors and strategics to help clients navigate:

- Strategic joint ventures and capital raises
- Financing transactions
- Complex commercial arrangements
He devises creative transaction structures to help clients maximize opportunities and deploy capital across geographies and in a wide range of industry sectors, including film, television, and other content production, financing, and distribution; live events; music; sports; and digital and interactive media.
Rick serves on the firm’s Mentoring Committee and previously was on the Diversity Leadership Committee.

- Endeavor in its pending US$13 billion sale to Silver Lake
- Endeavor in its US$21 billion merger of UFC and WWE
- Endeavor in its US$775 million sale of a majority interest in Endeavor Content to CJ ENM
- Endeavor in acquisitions and investments involving Asylum Entertainment Group, Barrett Jackson and Reigning Champs
- Entertainment Studios (Allen Media Group) in acquisitions of multiple broadcast television stations
- Houston Rockets in the acquisition of AT&T SportsNet Southwest with the Houston Astros
- JTBC/SLL in acquiring a majority interest in Wiip, a production company founded by CAA
- Legendary Entertainment in its sale to Dalian Wanda
- MarVista Entertainment in its sale to Fox Entertainment
