Doug Tifft helps clients navigate US and international regulatory review of mergers and acquisitions, complex civil antitrust litigation, and government investigations into alleged anticompetitive conduct.
Doug has represented a diverse range of clients, including public and private companies and investment funds. He has experience in a variety of industries, including energy, sports and entertainment, finance, retail and consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, technology, and transportation.
Doug received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School. During law school, Doug was a Contributing Editor for the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Journal.
Prior to joining Latham, Doug served as a Term Law Clerk to Judge Mary Beck Briscoe of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and as a Term Law Clerk to Judge William O. Bertelsman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Before attending law school, Doug was a sports writer for the Cincinnati Enquirer.
