PROFILE

Kate (Katie) Pritchard is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. She is a member of the Corporate Department and Public Company Representation Practice.

Katie guides and advises public companies on corporate, securities, and governance issues, including compliance with Exchange Act disclosure requirements, proxy rules, insider trading rules, stock exchange governance rules, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, along with related regulations. Katie also advises on takeover defense and shareholder activism.

Her clients include both US and foreign New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq-listed companies across a broad range of industries, with a focus on life sciences, technology, retail, and real estate investment companies.

Before joining the Public Company Representation Practice, Katie was previously a member of the Finance Department, where she represented investment and commercial banks, along with direct lenders in a range of domestic and cross boarder financing transactions, with an emphasis on leveraged and acquisition financings.
