PROFILE
Joyce Mujeh Wang oversees Latham’s global sustainability program.
Latham is committed to ambitious reductions in Scopes 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 against a 2019 baseline, as verified through the Science Based Targets initiative. The firm has also committed to procuring 100% renewable energy by 2030.
Joyce leads on the firm’s actions to achieve these targets, including measuring the environmental impact of Latham’s operations and implementing best practices firmwide. She works with firm clients to collaborate on shared value chain emissions goals and to uphold the firm’s commitment to transparency through voluntary reporting frameworks such as CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project).
Prior to serving in her current role, Joyce led sustainability and impact efforts at a startup and spent 9 years in the environmental non-profit sector, where she developed corporate partnerships for the Wildlife Conservation Network, and led multiple corporate philanthropy and cause partnerships with several global market-leading brands.
She began her career at Latham, as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer in the Silicon Valley office. She received the Pro Bono Star award in 2011 and served on the firm’s Recruiting Committee.
