Louise Deng advises private equity and corporate clients in Asia and globally on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Louise’s recent representations include advising:
- Tencent on its investments in Greater China, Asia, Europe, and the United States across various industry sectors, including SaaS, gaming, hotel chain, fintech, online audio book, video streaming, and automobile trading
- A major Chinese technology company, as a significant investor in both MX Media and ShareChat, on the sale of MX TakaTak and the merger of the short video apps Moj and MX TakaTak to create India’s largest short video platform
- The buyer consortium led by a major Chinese technology company (“the company”) and Hammer Capital on the privatization of Bitauto Holdings Limited, and the company as a joint offeror on the consequential mandatory general offer for Yixin Group Limited, Bitauto’s Hong Kong-listed subsidiary
- A Japanese corporation as lead investor in the micro-mobility spin-off from a leading Chinese smart transportation platform
- A Japanese technology investor on its follow-on investment in Bytedance
- Hillhouse Real Estate on its proposed investment in a Chinese data center operator
