Ori Assa advises Spanish and international clients on a full spectrum of M&A and private equity transactions.
Ori leverages his commercial approach to dealmaking and global perspective to guide leading corporates, private equity firms, and their portfolio companies on:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity transactions
- Matters with a Latin America nexus
He is global leader of the firm’s Hispanic/Latin American Lawyers Group. Ori previously served on the Mentoring and Recruiting committees.

- KPMG in the sale of its Impulsa business line to Legalitas, a Portobello portfolio company
- Azbil in the sale of Telstar, a Spain-based design, manufacturer, and supplier of pharmaceutical and biotech equipment, to Syntegon Technology, a CVC portfolio company
- Reddit in the acquisition of MeaningCloud Europe, a Spain-based natural language processing software company
- A financial advisor in the tender offer launched by Telefonica over the listed entity Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG to acquire up to 28.19% of its shares
- Globalia Corporación Empresarial in the sale of an 80% interest in Air Europa, a Spain-based airline service provider, to International Airlines Group
- Square in the acquisition of Verse, a Spanish peer-to-peer payments app
- Telefónica in a major carve-out of all its Central America (Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Costa Rica) telecom assets for €2 billion
- Teijin Limited in the acquisition of Inapal Plasticos SA, the Portugal-based manufacturer of plastic parts for the automotive sector
- Solarpack, which specializes in photovoltaic solar energy, in its €110 million IPO

- Three Hills Capital Partners in the indirect equity and debt investment in Twentyfour Seven Group, a leading production services company, and related debt refinancing
- Mubadala Capital in the investment of a majority stake in Grupo Babel, an international business specializing in digital transformation
- Archimed in the acquisition of Suanfarma, a Spanish company specializing in developing, producing, and marketing pharmaceutical and nutritional ingredients
