Lauren Anderson is a partner in the Houston office and serves as Global Vice Chair of the firm’s Energy & Infrastructure Industry Group. She advises on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters, for participants across all sectors of the energy industry – from traditional oil and gas to renewables, as well as in the infrastructure sector. - Energy Capital Partners, LLC in the formation of Harvestone Low Carbon Partners and its subsequent acquisition of Midwest AgEnergy Group, LLC and Iroquois Bio-Energy Company, LLC, which own, among other things, ethanol bio-refineries in North Dakota and Indiana
- Orion Energy in connection with the financing of GCE’s conversion of its Bakersfield crude products refinery to biodiesel
- 547 Energy in its investment Aer Soleir, an integrated European onshore wind, solar and energy storage platform
- 547 Energy in its investment in BlueFloat Energy, a global offshore wind developer
- Starwood Energy in its investment Radial Power, a newly formed joint venture between Starwood and energyRe focused on providing distributed clean energy solutions to large real estate and C&I asset owners

Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage
- Vault in the formation of a joint venture with Cardinal Ethanol to design, implement, and operate a carbon capture and sequestration project at Cardinal’s ethanol production facility near Union City, Indiana
- Newlight Technologies in connection with its negotiation and entry into various arrangements with Long Ridge Energy Terminal to construct and build an AirCarbon facility in Ohio
- Vault CCS Holdings, a carbon capture and storage developer, in its investment from Grey Rock Investment Partners
- Chevron U.S.A. in its joint venture with Talos Energy and CarbonVert, to develop the Bayou Bend CCS offshore carbon capture and sequestration hub currently held by Talos and CarbonVert
- Chevron U.S.A in connection with the deployment and ongoing financing of a ground-breaking bioenergy with carbon capture and sequestration (BECCS) project designed to produce carbon negative power in Mendota, California
