PROFILE
Deborah Ogali is a finance associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Project Development & Finance Practice.
Deborah advises a variety of financial institutions, sponsors, and developers in connection with project financings, acquisition financings, and other energy-related secured lending transactions, including power projects, residential solar, wind projects, and other renewable energy projects.
As part of her pro bono practice, Deborah has represented veterans in partnership with NVLSP and domestic violence victims under VAWA.
While attending Fordham University School of Law, Deborah served as an articles and notes editor for the Fordham Law Review and a staff member of the Fordham Moot Court Board.
EXPERIENCE
Deborah’s experience includes advising:
- Vivint Solar, Inc. in connection with residential solar project portfolio financing structures
- A leading Canadian independent power producer in connection with debt financing of the Griffin Project, a 225 MW wind project located in Texas
- The sponsor in connection with debt financing of a 112-MW DC/80 MW solar project
- Brookfield in connection with direct-lending refinancing of a deep-water, dry bulk terminal in Florida
- A private investment fund in connection with direct-lending construction financing of a magnesium recycling and production facility
