    • Acquiring the US motorway operations of HMSHost, an Autogrill subsidiary
  • Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) on the following matters: 
    • Its US$6.2 billion acquisition of ALLETE, a leading energy and regulated utility company
    • Preferred equity investment in Excelitas, a leading photonics technology company specializing in sensing, detection, imaging and illumination solutions
  • Searchlight Capital Partners on:
    • Its strategic investment in Mainstream Fiber Networks, which provides internet services to rural Indiana
    • Its strategic investment in Wecom, an Arizona-based internet service provider
    • Its take-private acquisition of Hemisphere Media Group, the only publicly traded pure-play US media company targeting the Spanish-language television and cable networks business in the US and Latin America
    • Its minority investment in Euclid Transactional, an underwriter of transactional insurance products
