PROFILE
Nolan Fargo is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the firm's Environment, Land & Resources practice.
Nolan practices environmental law, with a focus on environmental regulatory compliance and transactional support for complex corporate and finance transactions in the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. He combines an understanding of the environmental and energy regulatory landscape with transactional experience to assist private equity firms, financial institutions, project developers, and corporate clients on matters involving the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA or Superfund), Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), California Coastal Act, and other state and local land use laws.
Nolan graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as the Director of Development for the Georgetown Law Technology Review.
During law school, Nolan served as a student attorney for the Georgetown Institute for Public Representation.
