PROFILE

Manoj Tulsiani is a partner in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Debt Capital Markets Practice.

He regularly advises corporates, governments, and financial institutions across the full range of debt and equity-linked capital markets products in a significant number of jurisdictions, including with respect to bank regulatory capital, corporate hybrid, and convertible/exchangeable bond offerings. He also has extensive experience advising issuers with respect to corporate treasury and balance sheet management-related activities.

EXPERIENCE

Manoj’s experience includes advising:

  • Hong Kong Airlines on the holistic restructuring of its US$6.2 billion debts and liabilities, including its guarantee of the US$683 million perpetual securities issued by Blue Skyview. This restructuring involves the first ever parallel Hong Kong scheme of arrangement and UK restructuring plan. This transaction was awarded Cross-border Deal of the Year 2022 by China Business Law Journal
  • The Public Investment Fund on its inaugural US$3 billion green bond issuance
  • The underwriters on various issuances by AIIB under its GMTN programme
  • QNB, as issuer, on its EMTN programme update and issuances thereunder
  • J.P. Morgan in connection with Ukraine’s consent solicitations relating to its outstanding Eurobonds and GDP-linked securities
  • The underwriters on Ukraine’s US$1.25 billion bond issuance
