Katherine Cody is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Katherine represents private and public companies, and private equity funds in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and general corporate law matters. Prior to joining Latham, Katherine worked in the New York office of another leading international law firm.
Prior to law school, Katherine worked at a Big Four accounting firm.

Katherine’s representative experience includes advising:
- Siemens AG in its US$10 Billion Acquisition of Altair Engineering
- Raymond James as the financial advisor to the Conflicts Committee of Capital Products Partners L.P.
- CyberArk in its acquisition of Venafi from Thoma Bravo
- London Stock Exchange Group in the divestiture of its BETA, Maxit and Digital Investor businesses to affiliates of Clearlake Capital Group L.P. and Motive Partners
- Environmental Growth Opportunities Corp. in its business combination with Fast Radius Inc.
- L’Oréal in its acquisition of Youth to the People
- Rosecliff Acquisition Corp. in its business combination with GT Gettaxi Limited (Transaction terminated)
- ArcLight Capital Partners in numerous transactions, including its:
- Acquisition of Clean Energy Future Lordstown, LLC, which operates a 940 MW combined cycle gas-fired power facility in Ohio
- Acquisition of a minority interest in Kleen Energy Systems, LLC, which operates a 620 MW natural gas-fired power plant in Connecticut from Sojitz Corporation of America
- Divestiture of Great River Hydro to HQI US Holding, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hydro Québec
- Acquisition of a 6,750 MW fossil generating portfolio from Public Service Enterprise Group
