PROFILE
Aleksandar Despotovic is an associate in the Corporate Department of the London office of Latham & Watkins, and a member of the Capital Markets Practice.
Alex represents investment banks, private equity firms, and corporations in public and private equity and debt offerings and liability management transactions, with a particular emphasis on issuances of high-yield debt securities and initial public offerings.
EXPERIENCE
Alex’s experience includes advising:
- Belron UK Finance plc in connection with its €8.1 billion (equivalent) senior secured note and term loan financing, the proceeds of which were used to pay an extraordinary dividend to its shareholders
- The initial purchasers in connection with SoftBank Group Corp.’s offering of US$1.8 billion (equivalent) senior notes
- The initial purchasers in connection with Puma Energy’s US$500 million senior notes offering and concurrent tender offer for its outstanding dollar denominated senior notes due 2026
- The initial purchasers in connection with the offering of US$525 million senior secured notes and €500 million senior secured notes by Flutter Treasury DAC, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment plc
- HitecVision in connection with a club-deal placement of shares in Vår Energi ASA, raising approximately NOK 3.7 billion (US$340 million)
- The initial purchasers in connection with the offering by Helios Software Holdings, Inc. and ION Corporate Solutions Finance S.à r.l. (ION Corporates) of US$500 million senior secured notes and €300 million senior secured notes
- Synthomer plc in connection with its €350 million senior notes offering and concurrent tender offer for €370 million existing senior notes
