PROFILE
Shaza Loutfi is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, having previously worked in Latham’s Dubai office. Shaza advises on a range of banking, corporate, and sanctions and export controls matters.
Shaza maintains an active pro bono practice and, among several other immigration matters, serves as a coordinator of the Mina’s List program, which helps female former members of the Afghan Parliament seek refugee status in the United States.
Prior to joining Latham, Shaza was a consultant to various UN agencies and international NGOs. During law school, Shaza published in the Harvard Human Rights Journal and was awarded the Center on the Legal Profession’s Paper Prize.
