Sara Brown is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Sara represents public and private companies, private equity firms, strategic investors, and financial institutions in a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
While attending Berkeley Law, she was a Berkeley Center for Law and Business Scholar.
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Sara was a summer associate in the New York office.

Sara’s experience includes advising:
- Skydance Media, LLC, a next-generation media and technology leader, in its proposed US$28 billion merger with Paramount Global
- Instructure Holdings, an education technology company, in its acquisition of Scribbles from Alamar Partners
- TPG in the establishment of The Initial Group Global, a new talent management and representation company, and its initial investment in Untitled Entertainment
- KKR in the sale of a majority stake in Chord Music Partners, a pure-play catalog of music intellectual property including The Weeknd, OneRepublic, David Guetta, Lorde, Diplo, ZZ Top, John Legend, and more
- Manchester United in its sale of an approximate 30% equity interest to Sir Jim Ratcliffe for US$1.6 billion
- Endeavor in the US$21 billion merger of its mixed martial arts franchise UFC with WWE to create TKO, an Endeavor-controlled public company
- Endeavor in its acquisition of Asylum Entertainment Group
- Smith Douglas Homes, one of the fastest growing private homebuilders in the US by number of closings, in its IPO
- Mediawan, a leading independent premium content studio, in its acquisition of a controlling stake in Plan B Entertainment, a content production company co-founded and led by Brad Pitt
