PROFILE

Ajay Agarwal is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Banking Practice.

Ajay’s experience includes advising sponsors, corporate borrowers, banks, and other financial institutions across a broad range of finance transactions, with a particular focus on complex cross-border leveraged and acquisition financings.

  • The mandated lead arrangers and the underwriters of the financing relating to the recommended offer for Clinigen Group by Triton

  • A club of 14 private credit lenders, including Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Apollo, BlackRock, and Temasek, on the €1.5 billion financing of SumUp, a global financial technology business

  • The lenders on the financing for the acquisition of Accountor Software by KKR

  • The lenders on the financing for the acquisition of the professional services business of Evelyn Partners’ by Apax Partners’

  • The lenders on the financing for the acquisition of Minesoft by Warburg Pincus 

  • The lenders on the financing for the acquisition of Havea by BC Partners  

  • The lenders on the financing for the majority investment in Nucleus by HPS Investment Partners
