PROFILE
Leah Morgan Parle is an associate in the Finance Department of the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Structured Finance Practice.
Leah advises on a broad range of securitization structures. Her experience across asset classes includes advising on transactions collateralised by unsecured personal loans, buy-now-pay-later receivables, corporate loans, residential and commercial mortgage loans, and other more esoteric asset classes.
Prior to joining Latham, Leah was an associate in the securitization practice of a Magic Circle law firm. She trained and qualified in a leading Irish law firm.
EXPERIENCE
Leah’s transactional experience includes advising:
- Tabby, a shopping and financial services app, on a US$700 million securitization of buy now, pay later (BNPL) receivables originated in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, at time of closing the largest asset-backed facility secured by a fintech in the Middle East
- Tamara, a shopping and payments platform, on a first-of-its-kind US$150 million securitization of buy-now-pay-later receivables originated in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and subsequent facility upsizes
- Barclays on a novel £700 million financing backed by Supplier of Last Resort energy-related receivables originated by Octopus Energy
- A number of international banks on CDO financings of Middle Market loans for leading direct lending funds
