PROFILE
Jannis Strotmann is a finance associate in Latham & Watkins’ Munich office. He advises German and international clients on a range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions.
Jannis represents financial institutions, direct lending funds, private equity funds, and corporate borrowers in:
- Cross border and domestic acquisition financings
- General corporate financings
- Financial restructurings
- Bank/Bond transactions
Prior to joining Latham as an associate, he gained experience in the banking and finance department of another major international law firm and in Latham’s Finance Department in Los Angeles.
EXPERIENCE
Jannis’ experience includes advising:
- Bank consortium on the issue of a bond with a total volume of €750 million by Progroup
- EMZ Partners on the investment in H&Z
- Kelvion Group on €235 million super senior revolving credit and guarantee facilities to refinance outstanding notes
- LBBW on the syndicated financing of Weishaupt Group
- Lender consortium on the financing for AutoScout24’s acquisition of TRADER Corporation
- LGT Private Debt on the acquisition financing of Trill Impact’s takeover of TT medic
- Hg on:
- The sale of MeinAuto's divisions
- Permira’s investment in GGW Group
- Partners Group on the acquisition of Rosen Group
