Matthew Snyder is an associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins.
Matthew represents emerging growth and established companies across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on complex technology transactions, AI and machine learning, and SaaS and other “as a service” offerings.
Matthew regularly advises clients with respect to complex acquisition, licensing, and development arrangements within the technology space, including:
- Datacenter and AI computing arrangements
- Technology and intellectual property acquisitions
- Strategic alliances and joint ventures
- Intellectual property licensing
- Information technology and business process outsourcing
- Development, manufacturing, supply, and commercialization agreements
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked for an international law firm in Toronto, Canada and a Fortune 500 aviation company.
EXPERIENCE
Matthew's experience includes advising:
- Voyager Space on a joint venture to design, build, and operate the Starlab commercial space station
- AAR in the acquisition of Triumph Group's product support business
- Astera Institute on its investment in Imbue, an emerging AI company
- Trustmark on the sale of its health benefits business to Health Care Service Corporation
- Stride Consumer Partners in its Series B investment in Serenity Kids
- An AI computing company on the establishment of its AI compute business
- A major transportation company in the procurement and implementation of a computer-aided dispatch and vehicle location system*
