Nicole Bruner is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Nicole is an intellectual property litigator who focuses on patent litigation.

Prior to joining Latham, Nicole worked for the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) as a Patent Examiner. At the USPTO, Nicole examined patent applications in the business method, mechanical, and electrical arts and assisted with examiner training. While in law school, Nicole served on the executive board as the symposium editor for the American University Business Law Review and published a comment, "Interpreting Gobbledygook under 35 U.S.C. § 101: Does the 2019 Patent Eligibility Guidance Clarify Past Confusion?" Nicole was also a teaching assistant for Administrative Law, Public Law, and Torts and a research assistant for Administrative Law.
