- Several large reinsurance vehicles on formation and capital raises, including:
- Ruby Re, a Missouri-based reinsurance vehicle sponsored by Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated
- Monarch Point Re, a Bermuda-based collateralized insurer. The vehicle was sponsored by Stone Point Capital and AXIS Capital and raised approximately US$400 million of capital
- Watford Re on its initial US$1.1 billion capital raise*
- Harrington Re on its initial US$600 million capital raise*
- KaylaRe on its initial US$620 million capital raise*
- Premia Holdings on its initial US$510 million capital raise*
- Fidelis Insurance Holdings on its initial US$1.5 billion capital raise*
- Nippon Life on its US$3.84 billion acquisition of a stake in Corebridge Financial
- Zimmer Financial Services Group on the sale of its specialty legacy insurance provider, Carrick Specialty Holdings
- Apollo on:
- its €1 billion investment into an entity owning a portfolio of high-quality real estate assets in Northern Germany controlled by Vonovia
- the sale by certain Apollo funds of Elbow Re Ltd, a Class 3a and C insurer, and its segregated account designated ‘Elbow Cell’, to Catalina General Insurance
- Aegon in its cross-border conversion into a Bermuda Limited company and the corresponding transition to the Bermuda Monetary Authority as Aegon’s group supervisor
- Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group on acquiring Towers Watson’s reinsurance brokerage unit*
- TIAA, Swiss Re, American National, and several other insurance companies on ongoing insurance regulatory guidance*
- IBM Global Finance on negotiating and implementing numerous trade credit insurance programs around the world*
- Armour, a Bermuda-based P&C runoff reinsurance company, on its sale of ILS Investment Management*
- Premia Holdings on acquiring Navigators Holdings (Europe) and its associated companies, including Assurances Continentales–Continentale Verzekeringenof Belgium and Canal Re of Luxemburg, from The Hartford*
- Slice, an insurtech startup, on corporate and insurance regulatory matters, including multiple joint ventures with large insurers and corporates*
