PROFILE
Monika Kluziak advises public and private companies, boards, and private equity funds on strategic domestic, and cross-border transactions. Monika leverages cross-disciplinary experience to lead strategic transactions with a problem-solving oriented and systematic approach, including:
- Public and private mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions
- Divestitures and take-private transactions
- Joint ventures and strategic transactions
- DeSPAC merger transactions
- Exchange Act reporting, corporate governance, and shareholder activism
- Initial public offerings, underwritten equity offerings and private placements
Monika sits on Latham’s Women Enriching Business committee, and the First-Generation Professionals Progression subcommittee.
Before joining Latham, Monika was an associate in the Houston office of a leading international law firm and attended the University of Texas School of Law, where she served as a research assistant to Professor Mechele Dickerson and as choreographer for Assault and Flattery and earned the Dean’s Achievement Award in Mergers & Acquisitions, Negotiation, and Trademarks.
