PROFILE
Franco Benyamin is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
As a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice, Franco counsels clients on a wide array of life sciences and technology matters. Franco has experience in all stages of patent litigation at the district court and appellate level, including pre-suit investigation, fact and expert discovery, trials, and post-trial briefings.
During law school, Franco received a Certificate in Public Interest Law, and he continues to maintain an active pro bono practice. Additionally, Franco was an associate editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy and a student practitioner for the Entrepreneurship & Intellectual Property Clinic.
Prior to attending law school, Franco was a researcher at the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, and Johns Hopkins University. His work investigating genetic variation in immunotherapeutic responses to the treatment of melanoma led to co-authorship of an article in Science Magazine.
