PROFILE
Ja Hyeon Park is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Ja represents both US and non-US financial institutions on regulatory matters relating to the Bank Holding Company Act, Volcker Rule, capital and liquidity issues, and enhanced prudential standards.
She advises clients on regulatory issues on a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets offerings, fund formations, leveraged loans, and other financings.

Ja’s experience includes advising:

- A designated dealer of Diem coins on federal and state licensing requirements applicable to its activities with virtual asset services providers in the United States*
- A former state-chartered bank in developing a board-level remediation policy*
- A state-chartered bank on its internal investigation regarding compliance with anti-money laundering requirements*
