Latham & Watkins Advises on US$500 Million Adani Transmission Limited Bond Offering

Asia team represents Joint Bookrunners in bond issuance by leading Indian private transmission company.

Adani Transmission Limited (ATL) has issued US$500 million 4.25% foreign currency bond offering. The bonds have a 4.25% coupon and mature in 2036. 

The Joint Bookrunners were Barclays Bank PLC, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, DBS Bank Ltd., Deutsche Bank AG, Emirates NBD Bank PJSC, Merrill Lynch, Mizuho Securities, Standard Chartered Bank and UBS AG.

Latham advised the Joint Bookrunners on the transaction, with a team led by Singapore partner and India Practice Head Rajiv Gupta, with Singapore counsel Monsiree Jirasarunya, Hong Kong counsel Louis Rabinowitz, and Singapore associate Francesca Rothkell. 

This is the second bond offering by ATL that Latham have advised on, and the eighth transaction for Adani Group.
