International Awards Spotlight Diversity Leadership

Latham & Watkins has been named the “Best International Firm for Women in Business Law” and “Best International Firm for Diversity” in the Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Americas Women in Business Law Awards program. The annual awards honor law firms that have developed female-friendly policies, as well as women lawyers who are the forefront of their practice areas.  

The awards recognized the firm’s signature diversity initiatives, including the Women’s Enriching Business initiative, Women’s Leadership Academies for senior associates and partners, Diversity Leadership Academy for associates and recruits, Multicultural Promotion & Attainment Coalition groups and Latham’s global mentoring program.

In addition to the firmwide awards, two Latham partners were recognized with individual practice awards, based primarily on their achievements, advocacy and influence over the past year. New York partner Claudia Salomon was named “Best in Commercial Arbitration” and Silicon Valley partner Judith Hasko received “Best in Life Sciences.”
