Silicon Valley Litigator Again Named a Leading California IP Lawyer

Doug Lumish is cited for patent trial successes.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Daily Journal recognized Silicon Valley partner Doug Lumish as one of the top intellectual property litigators in California. The publication’s annual “Top IP Lawyers in California” report highlights influential IP lawyers in California whose achievements have particularly impacted technological innovation. In the published profile, Lumish was noted for representing TransPerfect Global Inc., a website translation company, in a patent dispute with competitor MotionPoint Corporation. The Lumish-led case team won a permanent injunction against MotionPoint in federal court in November 2014, after the team had secured a jury trial victory in 2013.
