Bet Tzedek Honors Firm

Latham & Watkins was honored to receive the Rose L. Schiff Commitment to Justice Award, from Bet Tzedek. This organization provides free, comprehensive legal services for low-income individuals in Los Angeles, increasing access to justice. Our firm has offered pro bono counsel to Bet Tzedek’s clients, including the elderly, Holocaust survivors, and immigrants, for nearly two decades.   

Firm Vice Chair Ora Fisher accepted the award on Latham’s behalf. “Pro bono matters. Donating our legal skills to worthy organizations and clients in need is part of our firm’s culture, and we are so proud to be recognized by Bet Tzedek, whose mission strengthens the Los Angeles community and increases the rule of law in our society.”
