New York Partner Named Financial Regulation Attorney of the Year by Euromoney's Legal Media Group

Dana Fleischman, a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, has been named Financial Regulation Attorney of the Year by Euromoney’s Legal Media Group as  part of their 2020 Americas Women in Business Law awards. Euromoney said the awards “recognise the firms advancing diversity in the profession and the lawyers providing exemplary services and driving success for their practices.” Fleischman has been recognized previously in the awards’ Best in Financial Regulation category.

A member of Latham’s Capital Markets and Financial Regulatory Practices, as well as the firm’s global Financial Institutions Group, Fleischman is well-recognized as one of the world’s leading securities law and broker-dealer regulatory lawyers. Fleischman’s practice focuses on matters involving the regulation of broker-dealers and securities markets, advising clients on a wide range of corporate and regulatory compliance matters, including in connection with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private placements, internal investigations and enforcement matters, and cross-border transactions.

Fleischman serves in several prominent and influential capacities, including as counsel to The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) on various matters and as Chair of the American Bar Association’s FINRA subcommittee. In addition, Fleischman was a key member of the Latham teams that represented Spotify in its groundbreaking direct listing on the NYSE in 2018 and the financial advisers in the direct listing of Slack on the NYSE in 2019.

Fleischman is ranked in Band 1 in Chambers USA for Financial Services Regulation and was named to the Crain’s New York Business list of Notable Women in Law for 2020.
