London private equity team represents Ares and the iconic paint and wallpaper brand in the transaction.
Latham & Watkins is advising Ares on the sale of Farrow & Ball to Hempel Group. Farrow & Ball is an iconic paint and wallpaper brand with a 75-year British heritage.
Latham advised the Ares Private Equity Group when it acquired Farrow & Ball in 2014 and has acted for the company since then. Farrow & Ball can be discovered worldwide at 60 showrooms in prominent cities, over 1,700 third party retail locations and through a rapidly growing e-commerce business.
The transaction is expected to close later this year.
