Latham Represents Credit Funds and Other Alternative Lenders in Financing To Support Vista Equity Partners’ US$16.5 Billion Take-Private Acquisition of Citrix Systems, Inc.

Vista Equity Partners, a leading global investment firm focused exclusively on enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled businesses, and Evergreen Coast Capital Corporation, an affiliate of Elliott Investment Management L.P., completed on September 30, 2022 its acquisition of Citrix in an all-cash transaction valued at US$16.5 billion, including the assumption of Citrix debt. The notable take-private transaction was named the “Most Outstanding Debt Financing of the Year” by The Deal Awards 2022.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented the credit funds and other alternative lenders in a financing to support the transaction with a New York team led by capital markets partners Stelios Saffos and Peter Sluka and counsel Michael Saliba, with associates Paul Rafla and Cait O’Neill.
