Latham Honored by the Legal Aid Society of San Diego

The firm received the Outstanding Service Award for having donated more than 100 hours in free legal services this year.

Latham & Watkins was recognized by the Legal Aid Society of San Diego (LASSD), a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services to lower income San Diego residents, with its Outstanding Service Award. The award is presented to those that “have gone above and beyond in volunteering for [LASSD], volunteering 100 hours in the year or otherwise providing exceptional service” to LASSD clients and clinic participants.

Lawyers from our San Diego and Orange County offices have volunteered with LASSD legal clinics, including assisting pro se petitioners with domestic violence, civil harassment, and elder abuse restraining orders, and providing guidance on expungement declarations.
