Latham & Watkins Represents HPS Investment Partners in Financing for Iconic Artists Group

Firm advises on financing for the brand development and management company for entertainment artists, creators, and brands.

HPS Investment Partners has provided a financing for Iconic Artists Group, a brand development and management company for entertainment artists, creators, and brands, as reported by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Concurrently with the news of HPS’ investment, the WSJ reported that music legend Rod Stewart sold his interests in his publishing catalog and recorded music, as well as some name and likeness rights, to Iconic Artists Group, making him the latest artist to join the company that also owns assets of The Beach Boys, Cher, Nat King Cole, among others.

Partners Stelios Saffos, Peter Sluka, Rick Offsay, Andrew Blumenthal, and counsel Paul Iannicelli led the Latham team, with associates Sam Lehman and Erin Gilgen.
