Partner Rick Frenkel and associate Charlotte Yeung were lauded for their pro bono work.
Partner Rick Frenkel and associate Charlotte Yeung were among those recognized by the Bar Association of San Francisco's Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) with its Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service award for their contributions to JDC’s volunteer programs in 2023.
Frenkel and Yeung were honored for their work assisting a client on a Fair Employment and Housing Act matter as part of the JDC’s Federal Pro Bono Project, which “provides information and advice to pro se civil litigants in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.”
Since 1977, the JDC has served the San Francisco community by providing free legal services to low-income San Franciscans and the nonprofit organizations that serve them.
