Latham Advises on US$30 Million Seed Fundraising of CuspAI

London team represents Hoxton Ventures and Basis Set Ventures in climate AI seed round.
Latham & Watkins has advised Hoxton Ventures and Basis Set Ventures on the US$30 million seed financing round of CuspAI, an applied AI company building a platform for next-generation materials to tackle global sustainability and clean energy challenges. The new investment will support CuspAI’s development and deployment of machine learning algorithms for novel molecular and material design.
The round was led by Hoxton Ventures, with significant participation from Basis Set Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Shing Lo, with associates Venice Ma and Cyrus Fung.
