Latham’s Pro Bono Program Honored for Human Rights Work

June 13, 2024
The National Legal Aid & Defender Association’s award recognizes the firm’s support of vulnerable individuals.

The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) has recognized Latham with a 2024 Beacon of Justice Award. This year’s honorees “demonstrated an understanding of the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and other characteristics that may create interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage.”

Latham was honored for its comprehensive pro bono practice, through which Latham colleagues foster human rights, strengthen the rule of law, and assist vulnerable individuals around the globe, including asylees and refugees.
