Tahirih Justice Center Celebrates Latham’s Pro Bono Commitment

The firm was honored for its work on behalf of survivors of gender-based violence.
Latham & Watkins was honored by the Tahirih Justice Center at its annual Journey to Justice awards reception for the firm’s pro bono work on behalf of Tahirih clients, including survivors of gender-based violence.
“Pro bono work is a fundamental part of Latham’s culture, and we are proud to support the efforts of the Tahirih Justice Center,” said Laura Atkinson-Hope, Public Service Counsel, Director of Global Pro Bono at Latham.
The Tahirih Justice Center is a nonprofit that has aided more than 30,000 immigrant survivors of gender-based violence since 1997 by providing free legal and social services, policy advocacy, and community outreach. Latham has worked with Tahirih since 2007.
