Latham Advises Synaptics in Wireless Asset Acquisition and Licensing Agreement With Broadcom

Synaptics Incorporated has announced it has accelerated its Edge AI strategy by signing a definitive agreement with Broadcom to acquire assets and obtain non-exclusive licenses relating to Wi-Fi 8, ultra-wideband, Wi-Fi 7, advanced Bluetooth, and next-generation GPS/GNSS products and technology for IoT and Android ecosystem.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Synaptics in the agreement with a corporate deal team led by Washington, D.C. partner Morgan Brubaker and Bay Area partner Saad Khanani, with associates Peter Bassine, Ryan Clore, and Tim Schubert.
