Latham & Watkins has been named a finalist in six categories for American Lawyer Media’s (ALM) annual Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards 2025 including:

  • Michael Rubin, Global Co-Chair of the Privacy & Cyber Practice, Global Vice Chair of the Technology Industry Group, and AI Task Force leader, in the Innovators of the Year — Law Firm (Individual) category for his visionary work pioneering the firm’s use of generative AI technologies and helping clients stay ahead of the curve and successfully navigate the AI era.
  • Andy Gass in the Litigation Technology & Innovation category for pioneering the firm’s use of generative AI technologies and his path-breaking AI work for clients.
  • Joshua Tinkelman in the Tech-Enabled Transactional Practice category for developing Latham’s comprehensive database of credit agreements, which created significant efficiencies and enhanced the firm’s ability to provide data-driven advice.
  • Best Tech Training Program Implementation, for Latham’s AI Academy, a first-of-its-kind program designed to equip lawyers at all levels for the significant changes that AI is bringing to the legal industry and to clients globally.
  • ESG Enablement Through Technology, for the firm’s pro bono work for Thinking Huts, a US-based nonprofit using 3D printing and other innovative technology to reduce the construction time of schools from months to weeks.
