Latham & Watkins Assists Energy Capital Partners in Securing CFIUS Clearance

CFIUS concluded that there were no unresolved national security issues with respect to Energy Capital Partners’ acquisition of Atlantica.

Energy Capital Partners (ECP), a leading equity and credit investor across energy transition, electrification, and decarbonization infrastructure assets, received clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) in connection with its acquisition of Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure plc (Atlantica). CFIUS concluded that there were no unresolved national security issues with respect to the transaction.
