Latham-Led Hilton Deal Named Hotel Industry M&A Deal of the Year

Latham & Watkins advised Hilton in its acquisition of Graduate Hotels brand, which was awarded 2024 M&A Deal of the Year by the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS), the leading and largest hotel investment conference in the world. Hilton acquired Graduate Hotels brand from Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (AJ Capital) for US$210 million, including franchise agreements for all existing and future Graduate properties, adding a significant growth opportunity for the global hospitality leader in the fast-growing lifestyle hotel category.

Latham’s multidisciplinary deal team that advised Hilton in the transaction was led by M&A partners Amber Banks and Owen Alexander and real estate partner Meghan Cocci, Global Co-Chair of the firm’s Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure Industry Group.
